General Abilities
Support developmentally individuals with addictions in pursuing their desired life outcomes by
facilitating access to supports and services.
Implement services in a collaborative manner involving the active participation of the individual,
intended to assist individuals to enhance (not replace) their natural supports and other available
services.
Promote self-advocacy, advocate on the behalf of the individual, as needed, monitor the health and
safety of the individual; including assuring services are delivered as described in the Individualized
Service Plan (ISP) and are provided in a safe and healthy environment, through a formal and ongoing
monitoring process.
Experience
I held the positions of case manager, ambassador, and operations director at Flames of Fire Ministries
and Joshua House.
In those roles I performed the following tasks:
1. Worked closely with Advocacy Coordinator and provide information to staff and community
partners on program eligibility, application, and referral process.
2. Maintained expertise on program policies and guidelines, and a working knowledge of funding
regulations and applicable laws.
3. Reviewed applications from and conducted intakes with program applicants.
4. Determined program eligibility and communicate eligibility decisions with applicants. Designed
support plan for each program participant.
5. Provide ongoing support and communication with program participants.
6. Cooperated with Accounting Specialist and Executive Director to maintain working knowledge of
program budget.
7. Coordinated collection of program data and grant reporting information.
8. Completed and submitted semi-annual grant reports. Provided safety-planning services and
conduct program participant safety checks, as needed.
9. Developed and maintained partnerships with key community partners who assist with housing
and supportive services for survivors of violence, sexual assault, drug and alcohol abuse.

1. Knowledge of violence, sexual assault, trauma, drug and alcohol abuse and related issues.
2. Understanding of and commitment to issues of cultural diversity as they apply to the survivors
of violence, drugs, and alcohol abuse.
3. Good organizational and time management skills
4. Proficient technology skills, including proficiency with Windows applications and internet use.
5. Excellent ability to teach others to use smart phones.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
7. Experience working with various community agencies.
